The active ingredient, pivmecillinam, is a prodrug that is converted in the body to mecillinam, which targets and inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.

Dosage Information
Recommended dosage: Take 200 mg tablets orally three times daily for 5 to 7 days, depending on the severity of the infection.

Make mistake dose: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
